The White House Cookie

We do a lot of fantastic things but this post is about the simple little things that we do that are an awful lot of fun.  It doesn't have to be expensive or fancy or a trip to be amazing!

He loves the stuff!

Anyway, one of the fun things about Trader Joes is the changing inventory.  One day this summer when we here they had a White House Cookie Kit to put together and decorate.  This was a total hit and even better, I think it cost only $3.99.   Here are some pictures from our decorating party!

Marcus made sure that the structure was solid!

He was also responsible for all of the decorating!

I don't think anyone is going to hire us in the future to build white house cookies but we sure had a lot of fun and Marcus was really proud of  it.  On a side note, every part of it tasted fairly awful so I would advice this for the fun but not the taste.  The good news is that it really kept Marcus from tasking the project!
