We have had a lot of changes in past month. The biggest change is that Marcus is transitioning in daycare from the toddler room to preschool 1- most of his other friends already moved up and he has been ready for this move for some time. He now clearly tells us that he is a "big boy"- if I ask him is he is a baby- he says "NO mine is a big boy". I swear he is growing faster than ever and is even more independent.
Another exciting update in our life is that Marcus now has a bike. It is actually a balance bike- and not a traditional bike but he is in love with it.
The first day that Marcus got the bike we took figured it out right away. And he was off- He actually told me that day when he was on the bike that he was headed to Grandma and Grandma's- at the rate he was headed I think the 55 miles may taken a few days. But I think he can feel the call of the freedom and the road.
He took the bike out for another spin today. We actually biked all of the way to get ice cream at Dairy Queen. We actually got out for ride/walk (I walk/he rides) almost every day.
Marcus has taken the role of a bike owner very seriously and has even started doing his own bike maintenance. He even got some assistance from Daddy in adjusting the bike seat height.
